Coming Up Short with Jon Levine and Eric Rosenblum

Our 15th episode! Jon Levine and Eric Rosenblum can’t believe that it’s been nearly four months since the podcast started. It’s come a long way!

In this episode we talk about Eric’s upcoming show at the Funky Buddha with headliner Wendi Starling, Jon’s TV commercial shoot, why it’s important to structure your jokes properly (even if they don’t look like they are) and why Jon gives Eric hope as he gets older.

Coming Up Short with Jon Levine and Eric Rosenblum

The Chula Vista studios are brimming with life as Eric and Jon interviewed this week’s guest, Ethan Moore. The three discuss the Ultimate Miami Comedy Contest, Jon’s recent trip to Orlando, how to properly pronounce Aw Ana Kava, where Ethan has a Monday night room, and other podcasts about German boardgames. 

Our Standup Spotlight of the week just also happens to be a birthday girl today. Pam Bruno has been lighting up stages throughout South Florida including a hugely successful gig at the Broward Center for the Performing arts.

Coming Up Short with Jon Levine and Eric Rosenblum

Eric and Jon are back in the Chula Vista studios this week talking about a whole lot of things. Eric just got back from a wedding in New York and performed comedy while in the city. Jon has become an ordained minister and now has the ability to marry people (and do baptisms and funerals). The two also discuss some different rooms in Miami including Chris Kane’s Speak Comedy Saturdays.

The Standup Spotlight of the week is a hometown favorite who’s coming back to town in the next few weeks, Will Watkins.

Coming Up Short with Jon Levine and Eric Rosenblum

Eric is in the Big Apple which means Jon is in the studio with a very special guest co-host, Jacky Beren. Jacky and Jon are joined this week by our in-studio guest, Tim Hanlon and we discuss with Tim his start in comedy and subsequent rise to working comic over the course of the last five years. 
Tim also shares his thoughts and advice on how to succeed in the comedy world, keys to being comfortable on stage and the importance of setting and achieving goals. 
Tim, Jacky and Jon also give a quick shout out to our Standup Spotlight of the week, Travis Allen, the oldest looking young comedian in the scene.
