Happy Labor Day everyone! It’s a threesome once again for the Coming Up Short podcast as Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine welcome in a very special guest, Mike Atcherson. Mike shares stories about his very first time on stage at FAU (spoiler alert: didn’t go well), where he wants to take his comedy, and what it’s like to be on stage while there’s a fistfight going on in the crowd (spoiler alert 2: not fun).

The three also painfully realize that they all have a secret man-crush (at least, that’s what it sounds like) on the Standup Spotlight of the Week, Brandon Bennington.

Jon and Eric also tell the story of their Thursday night jaunt to a new mic in Fort Lauderdale and who’s responsibility is it (the comedian’s or the host’s) to know when it’s time to get off stage if it isn’t happening.
